1. What motivates you at work?
A key motivating factor behind my work is being able to take complex ideas and topics and transform them into interesting, newsworthy pieces of information that resonate with a client’s target audience – whether that be their own clients and stakeholders, general public, or media outlets.
2. What’s your favourite thing about working at Profile Media?
One of my favourite things about Profile Media is the culture. Despite being a remote workplace, we have a strong, connected team that is always supportive, collaborative and we celebrate each other’s wins, while also having a laugh along the way.
3. What’s something you’ve learned recently in your role or industry?
I enjoy deep-diving into the various industries my clients are involved in, so I feel like I am always learning something new! But lately I’ve definitely been learning about the impacts of artificial intelligence across a number of sectors – including media and communications – and I’m excited to see how this technology is going to continue to transform industries moving forward.
4. Do you have a personal mantra or piece of advice that guides you?
My personal mantra is “I can do hard things”.
5. What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Outside work I love running, curling up with a good book, spending time outside in nature and getting away with my family – preferably off-grid.
6. Professional life before Profile Media?
I am the former News Director of 6PR in Perth and spent more than a decade at the station as a journalist, news reader and presenter.
