Many businesses know they should be targeting bloggers but don’t because they feel overwhelmed about where to start.
Simply find one blogger you’d like publicity from and start following them on social media and get to know their blog. Email the blogger, keep it personable and be upfront about what you’d like them to blog about.
Some bloggers are happy to give publicity purely for good content, others would like to keep the product or use the service they are blogging about as payment and there are some that expect money to exchange hands.
You can also offer to write a guest post for a blogger and you will know straight away if that’s possible simply by looking at their website. A guest post will involve you rewording your media release into the first person.
Some bloggers will be very friendly and others might be short on time but it won’t take long for you to build blogger relationships and reach new audiences.
